Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. 30-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guaranteeon your first subscription. If you are not happy within the first 30 days of starting a new subscription, contact our support team and we will issue a full refund of your first month's fee — no questions asked.
The guarantee applies to your initial subscription period only. It does not apply to subsequent renewals, to upgrades/downgrades, or to a second subscription started after a previous one was refunded. [Confirm scope of the guarantee with counsel.]
2. After the first 30 days
After the 30-day window, subscriptions are non-refundable. Because plans are billed monthly in advance, cancelling part-way through a billing period does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund of the current month — your service simply continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. We do not bill you again after you cancel.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time:
- from your billing settings in the panel; or
- by emailing contact@wpenguin.com from the email address on your account.
Cancellation stops auto-renewal. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew.
4. What happens to your server & data
When your subscription ends, your dedicated server is scheduled for decommissioning. Please export anything you need — your WordPress files, database and media — before your access ends.
- Your server and its data are scheduled for deletion after a short grace period of [X days] following the end of your paid period.
- Backups are retained for up to 30 days and are then permanently removed.
- If you need help exporting your site or arranging a migration before you leave, open a support ticket and we will assist.

5. Reactivating
If you change your mind during the grace period, contact us — we may be able to restore your server. Once data has been permanently deleted it cannot be recovered, and a new subscription will provision a fresh, empty server.
6. Exceptions & chargebacks
Refunds may be withheld where the account has breached our Terms of Service (for example, abuse of the 30-day guarantee or prohibited use). If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us first so we can put it right quickly rather than raising a chargeback.
7. Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
